A substantial renovation and interior remodeling. Old, deteriorating wood frame windows were replaced with energy efficient windows to improve air tightness and overall building envelope performance. All interior flooring on the main floor was changed to heated tile so as to eliminate any visible baseboard heating devices. The kitchen was fitted with new cabinets and appliances, a new gas fireplace and surrounding stonework, as well as new doors, trim and baseboard treatments throughout the house. All bathrooms were redone with new fixtures, new tile and floor heat.

• The client requested an interior renovation to bring the unit up to the latest design and quality standards without drastic changes to structure and layout.
• The unit upgrade is able to withstand frequent rental usage and to appeal to prospective regular clients.
