The objective of this role is to be a knowledgeable team player in the process of completing residential construction and renovation projects. The role requires drive, a sense of accountability, loyalty and integrity.
We’re looking for an experienced, well rounded carpenter who can perform and be skilled in all aspects of single-family construction. We perform most carpentry related work in house and expect performance work in all stages of home building: Forming, framing, and finishing. We also take on renovations and occasional repair work. There are Possibilities of advancement to roles such as site supervisor or project manager.
This role is full time and year round.
Typical work days are Mon – Fri 8 am – 4:30pm. We do provide flexibility with work schedules to pursue our passions.
Responsibilities:
• Job site safety awareness
• Accountable to finishing work assigned by site supervisor
• Act as a loyal team player to bring the project to completion
Salary: $40- $55/hr

Job Requirements:
• 5 years experience working as carpenter or hold Red Seal Ticket
• Familiar with the current BC building code
• Skilled in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
• Possess a strong understanding of Forming, Framing and Finishing
• Experience with energy efficient construction is an asset
• Ability to supervise 2-4 people is an asset
• Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to work with other trades, people and suppliers
• Strong attention to detail
• You must be reliable, Self-Motivated, punctual and be able to work well within a team environment or independently

• Physically fit required to perform the required work
• Are a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or have a valid work permit for at least 2 years.
